Edgar - (ehd-gerr) - A student in a large-capacity college lecture who consistently feels the need to talk to the professor from the student body, thus giving the impression to others as “showing off,” being an intellectual “force to be reckoned with,” or just wasting other students’ and the professor’s class time.
